Who’s behind KingSell.com?

The creator’s of KingSell.com are both avid online auction users and aficionados of classified ads.  Their combined experience in sales, marketing, advertising and business development paved the way for KingSell.com to come to life.

 When did it all start?

In 1999 the idea of KingSell.com was born in the mind of our founder and president.  His dream was to take his love of classified ads and bring it to the Internet in a way no one else has.

What makes KingSell.com different?

KingSell.com is what other classified ad and auctions websites are not.  We took the elements we enjoyed from other sites and stripped away the needless clutter that got in the way.  We took the look and feel of newspaper classified ads but provide more features, more value, all at a lower price. 

KingSell.com was designed and programmed to be extremely efficient and self-contained.  That translates into a site that does not require hundreds of programmers and computer gurus to keep it running every day.  Instead, our focus is on marketing KingSell.com so more users will visit and see your item for sale.

• Consistent Navigation. Our navigation never disappears or changes as you move through the site.  Along with consistency, we wanted to provide convenience and choice.  Each user likes to navigate differently, so we designed multiple ways for you to get to your destination.  No matter what page or section you are in, you are always just one click away from your next destination.  You will never get lost…we promise.

• Searches Driven by Zip Code.  You have the power to find an item within your own neighborhood or across the country. Searching by zip code is a great way to narrow down searches so you don’t waste your time.

• Color-Coded Categories.  Each category has its own unique color so you can easily identify where you are and what you’re looking at.  Blue will always be General Merchandise.  Red is always Transportation and so on.  This method keeps things simple, consistent and clear.

• WatchDOG! Email Service.  You can’t be online all the time.  We can do the searching for you.  Sign up for our WatchDOG! Email Service and tell us what you are looking for.  As soon as we see one become available, we will send you an email notice.  So you’re using KingSell.com even while you sleep! 

• Three Ways to Search for Items.  You can do a Quick Search and jump right into it.  You can narrow things down and get specific with our Advanced Search.  Or you can browse everything available in a category by clicking the Category Tab placed just above the Quick Search bar.  Your choice…whichever way works best for you.

• Current Offer System.  KingSell.com is a classified ad website with an auction component.  A buyer has the ability to email the seller an offer for his or her item.  The offer is then listed in the ad as the “Current Offer”.  Each time there is a new offer the price increases.  This feature provides the enticement and excitement of an auction environment without all the headaches.
