This policy explains how KingSell.com, LLC (“KingSell”) uses and protects your personal information through KingSell.com (“Site”). By accepting the Privacy Policy and User Agreement in registration, you expressly consent to our collection, storage, use and disclosure of your personal information as described in the Privacy Policy. 

Collection of Information:

You can search and browse the Site without providing KingSell any personal information.  Once you provide your personal information through the registration process you consent to the transfer and storage of that information to our servers located in the United States of America.

This site is not intended for persons under the age of 18.  We do not knowingly collect or use any personal information from persons under the age of 18.

We may collect and store the following personal information:

Email address, physical contact information, and financial information such as credit card numbers for payment purposes solely.

Transaction information based on your activities on the Site (Such as ad types placed, amount purchased, frequency of purchases, your location, etc)

KingSell may disclose your personal information to respond to legal requirements, enforce our policies, respond to claims that an ad or other content violates the rights of others, or protect anyone’s rights, property, or safety.

Agents of KingSell, its affiliates and third party service providers to help detect and prevent potentially illegal acts.

Law enforcement or other governmental officials, in response to a verified request relating to a criminal investigation or alleged illegal activity;

Without limiting the above, in an effort to respect your privacy and our ability to keep the community free from illegal activity, we will not otherwise disclose your personal information to law enforcement, other governmental officials, or other third parties without a subpoena, court order or substantially similar legal procedure, except when we believe in good faith that the disclosure of information is necessary to prevent imminent physical harm or financial loss or to report suspected illegal activity.

KingSell utilizes Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology to protect and secure your credit card information as you place orders with us.  Following are some steps you can implement to enhance the containment of your credit card information and assist the prevention of unauthorized interception of your information.  Limit your online shopping to Internet merchants, such as KingSell, who are equipped with Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology.  SSL prevents unauthorized people from intercepting your data by encrypting your information before it is transmitted over the internet.  Use a web browser that supports SSL.  Your browser will show a symbol in the status bar, such as a key or lock, when you are on a site that uses SSL. 

Marketing:

We do not sell or rent your personal information to any third parties for their marketing purposes without your explicit consent.  We may combine your information with information we collect from other companies (such as demographic data) to improve and personalize our services to you.  If you do not wish to receive marketing communications from us, simply indicate your preferences once you sing-in on the Site in My KingSell, similar status page, or by following the opt-out directions within any email received.

Public View of Information:

If you so choose, your name, phone number, and/or email address will be displayed on the Site in connection with your specific advertisements and therefore available to the public.  This will be necessary for buyers to contact sellers regarding the item or service being advertised.  KingSell is not liable for those contacts or any results incurred from those contacts.  KingSell only provides the venue for a seller to advertise their item or service for sale, and in connection, KingSell also then provides a searchable database of said items for Buyers to utilize to locate items or services of interest.  Beyond this, all contact and interaction is the sole responsibility of the Seller and Buyer.

Cookies:

KingSell may use “cookies” (small files placed on your hard drive) on certain pages of the Site to help analyze our web page flow, customize our services, measure promotional effectiveness, and promote trust and safety.  A few important elements you should realize concerning our use of “cookies”:

We may offer certain features that are only available through the use of cookies

We may use cookies to help identify you and maintain your signed-in status

You are always free to decline our cookies if your browser permits, although doing so may interfere with your use of the Site.

Spam:

KingSell does not tolerate spam.  You have the ability to set the notification preferences that we use to communicate with you.  We encourage you to allow us to send you emails containing special promotions that may interest you and we reserve the right to contact you via email and postal mail regarding your account and/or your status as a KingSell user. 

KingSell will not allow users to capture personal information for the Site for their own purposes.  This is strictly prohibited.  You are not allowed to add other KingSell users, even a user who had purchased an item from you, to your mail list (email or postal mail) without their express consent.  To report any related SPAM or SPOOF email to KingSell, please forward the email in question to abuse@kingsell.com.

Account Protection:

Your password is the key to your account.  Use unique number and letter combinations which are meaningful to you but not common knowledge about you (such as a phone number, birth date, address, family member name, etc.).  Never disclose your KingSell password to anyone.  If you choose to share your password or your personal information with others, remember that you are responsible for all actions taken in the name of your account.  If the secrecy of your password becomes compromised, you may loose substantial control over your personal information and may be subject to legally binding actions taken on your behalf.  Therefore, if your password has been compromised for any reason, you should immediately notify KingSell and change your password.

Accessing, Reviewing and Changing Your Personal Information:

You can see, review and change most of your personal information by logging into the Site.  Generally, we will not manually modify your personal information because it is very difficult to verify your identity remotely.  You must promptly update your personal information if it changes or is inaccurate.  Upon your request, we will close your account and remove your personal information from view as soon as reasonably possible, based on your account activity and in accordance with applicable law.

Security:

Your information is stored on our servers in the United States of America.  We treat data as an asset that must be protected and use multiple means to protect your personal information against unauthorized access and disclosure.  However, be informed, that third parties may unlawfully intercept or access transmissions or private communications, and other users may abuse or misuse your personal information that they collect from the Site.  Therefore, although we work very hard to protect your privacy, we do not promise, and you should not expect, that your personal information, or private communications will always remain private.

Third Parties:

Except as otherwise expressly included in the Privacy Policy, this document addresses only the use and disclosure of information we collect from you.  If you disclose your information to others, whether they are a buyer or other seller on the Site or other sites throughout the internet, different rules may apply to their use or disclosure of the information you disclose to them.  Since KingSell does not control the privacy policies of third parties, you are subject to the privacy policies of those third parties.

Transfer of Customer Information:

Customer lists and information are properly considered assets of a business. Accordingly, if we merge with another entity or if we sell our assets to another entity, our customer lists and information, including personally identifiable information you have provided us, would be included among the assets that would be transferred.

General:

We reserve the right to amend this Privacy Policy at any time with all amendments posted on the Site and notification sent to you in accordance with the notification preferences you establish in your “My KingSell” area.
